Welcome to our first Modern Muse interview of 2016! Today's muse is Main Line, PA and Paris-based Chloe Johnston of Chloe Johnston Experiences. We couldn't wait to hear Chloe's favorites because it's literally her job to find the best of the best. Chloe is a local entrepreneur with one of the coolest business concepts I've ever come across – she plans exclusive, custom-tailored shopping and fashion trips for clients in Paris and NYC. That's right, y-o-u can hire her to plan your next special getaway, and choose from options like Girlfriend Getaway in Paris, Vintage Treasures & Hidden Secrets of Paris and Showroom Sizzle (a NYC tour), or have her create a completely custom experience just for you. Where do we sign up?!

I'm inspired everyday by everything around me; I don't have one person, one movie, or one collection that defines me. However, I do love Jennifer Aniston's effortless style, and Beyonce's pops of color and ability to completely rock every look.

Food: Nectar, A Taste of Britain, Valley Forge Flowers

Hello & happy 2016! Thank you for another wonderful year. 2015 was a year of growth for me, both personally and professionally, and I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love every day thanks to all of you.

I'm beyond excited to see what 2016 has in store. Instead of guessing what you want to see from The Atelier in 2016, I would love to get some feedback from Y-O-U. If you wouldn’t mind sparing 5 minutes or so to take this simple 10 question survey (below), I would really appreciate it, and to sweeten the deal, email press@theatelierblog.com once you're finished and we will send you a code for 15% off your next order!

Thanks so much for your time and continued support. I couldn't do it without you!

Cheers to a new year full of happiness and growth.

Looking for a signature scent? Look no further. Named after classic YSL silhouettes, the new Le Vestiaire des Parfums collection features five fragrances designed to build a perfect perfume wardrobe. From classic (trench) to exotic (caftan), each perfume represents a different coat that evokes a different location and mood.

Image via GQ

Trench (Classic): Musky and woodsy with citrusy notes (My favorite)

Tuxedo (Bold & Sexy): Smoky with a hint of spice, amber and patchouli

Caban (Cozy): Tonka bean and vanilla with notes of spiced pink pepper

Caftan (Exotic & Vibrant): Soft vanilla mixed with exotic incense

Saharienne (Adventurous): White musk base with notes of neroli (citrus blossom)

It's Monday, which means we're back with a brand new Modern Muse interview to get the week off to an inspiring start. Today, we're chatting with Evann Clingan, an NYC-based marketing expert (by day) and fitness blogger (by night). Although Evann and I have never met IRL, we both worked on Sweet Lemon Magazine a few years back and it's been so cool to watch her fitness journey over the years. If you're looking for someone with plenty of fitspiration and killer workout style, Evann is your girl!

I don't have a style icon in a traditional sense, but I do love the Nike Women and Lululemon's aesthetics. I tend to mix activewear into my everyday wardrobe.

Must-visit place in your city (New York, NY) ...

I always recommend a visit to the High Line, a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the street, or Central Park.

Guilty pleasure ...

While I do run or cross train six days per week, ice cream is my guilty pleasure. I especially love Ample Hills and Big Gay Ice Cream in New York.

I'm working my way through a few of the Jodi Picoult books during my subway commute. I also keep print copies of magazines in my gym bag.

Race medals! I ran races (mostly half marathons) in Disney World, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Vancouver, New Hampshire, San Francisco, and Las Vegas in 2015.

I'd love to get my hands on an Icon Tote. When I'm not carrying a gym bag, I prefer a simple, spacious leather bag.

There are so many cool places to go for cocktails in Philly that it was hard to narrow it down to just a few. Consider this your starter list for delicious, hand crafted cocktails and cool atmospheres in Center City.

1. El Vez | 121 S. 13th Street, Philadelphia

Get a pitcher of margaritas (try the Grenada) and an order of guacamole and dig in. This hip happy hour spot, complete with a spinning motorcycle centerpiece and photo booth, fills up fast.

2. a.bar | 1737 Walnut Street (NE Corner), Philadelphia

Grab a seat at the bar and watch the seasoned bartenders handcraft your cocktail from scratch. Feeling adventurous? Order off-menu and let them whip something up based on your taste.

3.The Dandelion | 124 S. 18th Street, Philadelphia

The Dandelion is a delicious English-style pub right off of Rittenhouse Square. There for brunch? Grab a Queen Mary (their seriously delicious version of a Bloody Mary). There for happy hour? Try their Pimm's Cup, or when it's in season their Strawberry Basil Punnet.
4. Bar Bombón | 133 S. 18th Street, Philadelphia

A newer addtion to the Center City restaurant scene, Bar Bombón has some seriously tasty sangria. Pair it with their tres leches cake for an extra indulgent night out.

5. Tria | 123 S. 18th Street & 1137 Spruce Street, Philadelphia

Not technically a "cocktail" bar, Tria has one of my favorite menus of wine and beer (and cheese!) from around the globe. Head here for a cozy night out (and try to grab the window seat).

Let me know your favorites in the comments below!

Honorable mentions: Vernick, Village Whiskey, Barbuzzo, Parc, Independence Beer Garden (seasonal)

Let’s face it, we're all waaay busier during this time of year, which usually means our beauty regimen gets pushed to the back burner. Skin is usually the first thing to show signs of fatigue from the holiday party hopping, cold weather, lack of sleep and stress, but we're here to help you look your party-best with our simple 3-step winter skin regimen (ft. our personal favorite products).

Step One: Exfoliate

Don't skip this step! It's creates the perfect base for the rest of your regimen. Exfoliating with a scrub or peel helps eliminate dead skin cells and renew skin for an overall brighter look. We're loving both peels and scrubs right now for achieving that glowing, well rested look.

Amy s: ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment, $22

Melissa s: Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel, $16 for 5

Step Two: Moisturize

Combat chapped lips and dry skin from the chilly weather with hydrating balms and creams. For best results, apply moisturizer to clean skin right before bed at night and right after you wake up in the morning.

Amy s: Lip Calm by John Masters Organics, $6

Melissa s: Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Cream, $75

Step Three: Finish

We love multitasking BB creams. They help even your skin tone, fight blemishes, and have built in SPF and anti-aging ingredients. If you wear one kind of makeup this holiday season, let it be a BB cream.

Amy s: Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream, $9

Melissa s: Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm with SPF 45, $39

With the hustle and bustle of the season, it’s rare to get a good night’s sleep. Hide dark circles and blemishes with a tried & true cream concealer.

Amy s: Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer, $21

Melissa s: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, $29
